High protein and decadent rich double dipped Banana Bread french toast.
Banana Bread
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 cup Hazelnut flour
½ cup Cane sugar
2 Eggs
1/4 cup Butter, melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2/3 cup drinkable yogurt or kefir
2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
French toast
Sliced Banana Bread
4 eggs
1/4 Vanilla extract
A pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg
A Splash of milk
Butter to grease the pan
1. Preheat oven to 350 and butter and flour a loaf pan.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, eggs and vanilla. In a large bowl sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Then, in the medium bowl add mashed bananas when mixed fold in mashed bananas mix in to the batter once mixed completely. Pour in to a bread pan. And place in a middle rack.
3. Bake at 350 for about 60 to 80 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let cool for 10 to 15 min before removing to cool completely.
French toast
1. Heat a frying pan and melt the butter coating the whole pan.
2. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients except the bread.
3. Dip the bread in the mixture coating on both sides. Then place in the pan till for min then flip, then pull out and re dip the bread and recoat on both sides. Then place back I frying pan and cook till beautiful and browned.
4. Serve warm with fruit and syrup.
